The release of the KCSE results follows the recent publication of the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports. Schools have been advised to log into the Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) portal to access learner-specific reports.

The 2024 KCSE cohort faced unique challenges, including disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent adjustments to the academic calendar. Despite these obstacles, the improved performance indicates resilience and adaptability among students and educators alike.

The government has reiterated its commitment to enriching the curriculum, hiring more teachers, and equipping schools with necessary learning materials and facilities.
