Kindiki dismissed Gachagua as a distractor who failed to deliver meaningful results while in office and has now turned to divisive rhetoric.

Speaking at his Irunduni rural home in Tharaka Nithi County, Kindiki aimed Gachagua, warning him against dragging him into unnecessary political disputes. He dismissed such confrontations as distractions, emphasizing that his focus remains on serving the nation.

"Naona watu wengine wanataka tujibizane... I’m busy... waambiwe hiyo tabia mbaya wakome... hii madharau mingi wajue sisi we are not pushovers... amekutana na watu watano sijui watu ishirini na wanajigamba... sisi we can call thousands of people," said Kindiki.

Kindiki made these remarks after hosting grassroots leaders from Embu, Meru, and Tharaka Nithi counties. He also dismissed Gachagua’s claims that he is a yes-man, urging Kenyans to ignore such leaders.

The Deputy President further warned Mt. Kenya residents against falling for Gachagua’s attempts to turn them against the government, cautioning that such actions could lead to the region being left out of development projects.

"Do not fall for the tricks of the evil-minded politicians... today, even if I was not the DP, I would support the development of this region," he added.

He assured the public that the government has secured resources to complete stalled projects, including roads, markets, and rural electrification, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to improving livelihoods.

"I have good news for our people and bad news for the detractors... the government has managed to get funds to finish all the projects... kazi sasa imeanza," Kindiki stated.

Kindiki encouraged Kenyans to remain focused and rally behind the governments development agenda, emphasizing that tangible progress is being made.
